I recently began thinking about why I\u2019m like this. Trust me, if you know me, you\u2019d understand what I mean, and you\u2019d probably agree that just knowing my family isn\u2019t enough.
\nI have two speeds. One is stop, one is go.
\nI can\u2019t work on one project, I have to have five.
\nOf the twelve projects I have open, I\u2019ll only finish seven.
\nI don\u2019t know which seven it will be, so I have to work on all twelve until I figure it out.
\nI can\u2019t settle on one thing I want to do. Right now I\u2019m learning to podcast, walking in charity walks, and setting up teleseminars, while writing a book.
\nMy favorite person in history, after Amelia Earheart, is Leonardo da Vinci. Amelia Earheart is my favorite only because I was a little girl in the 1970s and female role models were rare; I\u2019m not giving up my first idol.
\nI like to think that if Leonardo were alive today, people would be calling him \u201cweird,\u201d encouraging him to \u201cfinish what you start,\u201d and\u2013my favorite\u2013referring to him as \u201cjack of all trades and master of none.\u201d Then I like to think of those people suddenly realizing who they\u2019ve been criticizing.
\nYou know? Wouldn\u2019t that be fun?
\nWell, of course it\u2019s not going to happen, but what can happen is that you and I can recognize the Leonardo Trait in ourselves and each other and let up on ourselves. No one else is going to do it for us.
